Birth control sabotage is a phenomenon where an intimate partner tries to control a woman's reproduction, manipulating birth control use and undermining efforts to prevent an unwanted pregnancy. Examples include replacing birth control pills with placebos, poking hole(s) in condoms, or simply threats and violence should a woman attempt to control her reproductive future.
